The front tooth that is missing here was not supposed to fall out. The other one has been loose for weeks!
And unexpectantly the semi loose one came out! But have no fear, the other one came out the next night!
William had 2 visits in 2 nights from the tooth fairy! He said " I am gonna make us rich if my teeth keep falling out!"
Too cute, and now he talks with a little lisp!

Mom and Noah's Birthday
Noah and I made our own cake this year, Dad had to work all weekend; so we had to take matters into our own hands!
That's ok...we had a good mommy son bonding mess making time!
Noah doesn't like anyone singing his praises..at least this year he wasn't pulling my hair and crying to make us stop!
We only had 3 candles this year, Joe says it is symbolic of 30! He's a brat, I am only 29! Which does round up though...ugh!
Let the finger tasting begin!

A little fix for the grandmas!
Sunday, July 8, 2007
We spent our Saturday at the beach. Pt. Hueneme (pronounced Why-Ne-Me), is a nice little beach a tad north of Oxnard by the Navy base Pt. Mugu (Ma-goo).
Noah loves hi tractors, in fact this day in the dirt was the ultimate fun for him and his construction crew!
Joe and William made this mound into a volcano with a tunnel in it for the tractors!
No beach trip would be complete without someone being buried in the sand!

What a good day it was, except I burned my legs pretty bad and had to slather up in Aloe that night! Sun screen people!

Long Beach Aqaurium
We visited the aquarium last weekend, if you have kids or are in town...definitley recommend this place.
They have a great little kids water feature to play on and get sprayed by big resin fish.
The touch pools are amazing! There are several types of rays (pictured here), and small and big leopard sharks. You just reach in and pet them as they swim by. The rays are very soft and slimy feeling, and the sharks are hard like sandpaper.
Noah with a giant cherry tomato in his cheek, figures he will only pose when he's being a piggy!
So as anyone with small kids knows, kids fall over sideways when asleep in a car seat. So in comes our Griswald Ghetto Family Vacation solution...pile a pillow case with clothes and push it on his chest and around into the car seat for forward staility, and then use a neck pillow for the forward flop. (This neck pillow trick was something my Mom used to do to William in the baby swing, thanks Mom)!
Oh, and of course we forgot the sun shades so our milky white babe was in serious peril from the sun! So I used my windshield sun shades to put in the side windows, kinda like when I was little and the parents would put a towel in the window so it would flap along outside the car and look very ghetto. Anything for the babies I guess though! It was a fun day!
Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific
Something with a mouth bigger than Williams! ;)
These are really old surfboards, well from the 50's...but thats old right?
Pretty fish
This is a leopard shark, he was about 5 feet long. We got to pet a 3 foot long version of him in the touch pools.
This is a tank filled with Nemo and Dory fish...That's not the scientific name, but the Finding Nemo movie names of course.
