Father-son Leprachaun trap

This was a project that was sent home from school. The kids are supposed to design and build thier own Leprachaun trap, with the help of their family. Well 2 weeks later this is the result. Joe painstakingly tied and glued branches together, and developed a lever-spring device that attaches to the pot of gold. It is very technical. To quote Joe " I wish the teachers would send home easier projects!" I had to remind him that there were no instructions how to build it, and that any technical difficulty came out of his own creative design! :)
But, it is a huge hit at school with the other kids, and William is very proud. Can't wait for the advanced science project days!
And here's Noah, showing us his train! Notice the sunshine? Yeah, it was 90 degrees!

The first official Viehauser snowman ever!!!

It's a snow dragon crossed with a deer or something! It was fun to make at any rate. We all recieved a lesson or two on the fine art of making him, thanks to Daddy! The spikes are courtesy of some unfortunate sledder whose sled shattered into tiny pieces.
Aren't we cute?
My boys!

Our weekend at Pine Mtn.

We went to the snow again this weekend, and stayed in this great 3 story cabin. There was snow on the ground so that was fun, but the best part was just getting away for a few days! This is the view from the deck of our cabin, it was so peaceful; and there were alot of big bluejays!
These stairs lead to the loft where we (Joe and I) slept, and the boys had the couch.
Wood stoves are awesome!
This is the master suite, the linens were in the wash, but you get the idea.

6 Finally!

Williams birthday party!

It never rains in California right? Well it did on Williams party. Luckily we were up at O dark thirty (AM) to prepare.

The kids had a planting class by Aunt Donnie, a pinata, and generally ran around like maniacs foe 2 hours.

William had a great time, and he loved his homemade cake! All in all it was a wonderful Harry Potter Party!

Katie's prego picture!

So I know everyone is curious how she looks right? She looks wonderful! Motherhood suits her well!
